Verifying a fix

Note: A defect must be fixed before it can be verified.
  1. Choose Activities > Verify or click the Verify Fix toolbar button.
  2. The Verify dialog box opens.

  3. Select a Verify By user.
  4. This field defaults to the logged in user.

  5. The Date defaults to the current date.
  6. You can enter another date or click the calendar to select a date.

  7. Optionally select a Resulting State.
  8. Note: You can only select a state if the workflow allows multiple resulting states.
  9. Enter any Notes about the verification.
  10. If a fix fails, record why the fix failed. It can help with future planning.

  11. Select the Version number.
  12. You may also be able to enter a version number.

  13. Click OK.
